This film is not being made any more as it fell through in 2011 so Peter Jackson made the decision to drop the project completely. That means NO halo movie at all.

@Stargate674 The book I'm talking about is ABOUT Master Cheif! Hell, the entire book has Mastercheif's back story and every thing from when he was abducted as a child to be a part of the Spartan project to being a full grown Spartan soldier having to fight desperately for a doom planet with his spartan team. To me, as a fan of the series, that would seem like better way to start a Halo movie, is to slowy introduced halo's back story to an audience thats not familiar with the series.

Honestly, if games want to make movies about their game, they need to base their characters looks & voices on people in real life so that they have something to fall back on. We will never find a black guy that looks & sounds just like Sgt. Johnson. Ever.
