University of Virginia class held in Second Life

Professor Jerolimov and his class discuss the topic of griefing as it relates to online communities, gaming and social places. The discussion, and the class, was held in Second Life at the University of Virginia's virtual campus environment. The professor and students were logged into the environment from convenient locations, rather than being physically present at the campus itself. The virtual environment class filmed here is a snapshot reflecting the effectiveness of online spaces for meetings, collaboration and education.
