Love the Sir bowing to the Master @ 1:12 speaks volumes of real love

Beatles Forever. RIP John! RIP George

@rockinmaw what are you talking about?
-
@rafaelprivate what do you mean "these are not the beatles anyway"?.
I think it's overproduced by jeff "everything must sound the same" lynn (elo, taveling wilburys, the album cloud nine......), I wish george martin produced it, but the songs sound beatlish enough, as if "free as a bird" was the next step in the evolution of their sound after "the end" on abbey road.
besides, john on piano and vocals, paul on bass, george on guitar and ringo on drums = the beatles.

Beatles forever

when Paul hugs George at 1:37 I want to cry. They likely knew they'd not see one another in this life as George was so very ill. The love they had for each other was very apparent here. Just so sad that he left this earth so early. God damn cigarettes have taken SO MANY away in such HORRIBLE ways. Great and wonderful song - real love is what makes the world go round, nothing else!

When recording Free As A Bird in February 1994, the surviving Beatles only allowed filming for a small portion of one of the sessions. But for Real Love in February 1995, they had a film crew there for almost every session.

The older guy behind the recording console was longtime Beatles/George Martin/Paul McCartney recording engineer Geoff Emerick. In the late 80's Emerick had relocated to LA, but agreed to return to England to help with the recordings of these last two Beatle tracks. There are shots of Emerick with George Martin in Paul's "Broad Street" movie.
