@meneaitomania, sorry but you're right up to some point. Reggae in Spanish evolved to Reggaeton (only in Puerto Rico), but Reggae in Panama evolved into something totally different (and better): bultron, plena, pique, pasa-pasa, and other similar styles. its true that Puerto Rico and Panama have gone back in forth in popularity; the big difference is that PR reggaeton has become stuck with the same rithm, however Panamanian and Jamaican reggae styles and rithms are wide and always evolving.
