  • Hello from Paris. Hope this motion capture movie will make American spectators discover Tintin cartoon universe. Funny to see that they present it as a cross between Pirates of the Caribean and Indian Jones... since "we" in Europe compared Indiana Jones to Tintin's universe in the 80s. Incredible film anyway even if (of course) different from original cartoons

  • @Mrjjbi I'm from America and I actually grew up on the Tintin books/cartoons.

I'm actually extremely excited about this film and I hope it does stay true to the stories even if it's a bit different.

I'm also hoping that Tintin is seen more in America, but I'm also hoping that we don't decide to "steal" it and ruin it.

    XD

  • Tintin we really have been expecting you!

I must say,I really fell in love with tintin when he delivered that punch in 00:22

  • @JayNellzFosho I've seen the movie and I think it's amazing! Even though I don't know him until the movie came out I understand that it came before all the other movies of adventure. I hope you like it too because it was a real treat and I wish to learn more about the comics. I am asking my dad to find a copy of the comics and I'll read them one by one :)

  • @DuchessAliana Me too, lol. I've seen it twice already and I'd go again if the 3-D didn't make it so expensive (though for this one the effects are totally worth it). This movie is just so much fun! :D

  • THIS MOVIE WAS FREAKING AWESOME. And totally worth the extra money for the 3D. I seriously want to see it again although I'm practically broke lol

  • @kirikakirikakirika i think he's Belgian

  • Pretty sure Tintin was French, not British...

  • Me, learning that Tintin will premiere in Europe before it appears in the US: "Smart! Refreshing that Hollywood acnowledges (sp?) the birthplace of an icon!"

Realizes that this means I have to wait two months to see it: "Aw, crap."

    Only 2 weeks!
