I could not find much on Kanan Devi on web site except few songs. She had a particular singing voice and throaty intonation that should have put her in one of the top ever female singers of India. I only came to know her singing with facial mischievous and enchanting smile singing duets with KL saigal. I listen to her often now to see her with fascinating singing style and facial features to lift up my spirits .
