To confuse you further, when just on the flat and doing your FS / BS 180's... FS / BS is reversed when you're in nollie / fakie. To be honest I still don't understand it and gave up trying :)

@Xxsk84lyf No, you would think so because you are travelling backwards.. but 'backside' refers to where the ledge position or whatever obstacle you are doing the noseslide on is in relation to you. In this instance the ledge / rail is in front of the skater so it is a frontside noseslide. The FS / BS originates from surfing and waves, so the term was coined before skateboarding even started.

@Xxsk84lyf with grinds, when the obstacle ur grinding is in front of you its frontside, vice versa with backside.
