Ever heard of a stop sign? Or a "road work ahead"...or "checkpoint" sign.

ALWAYS trust the dog!

If they travelled off the roads then casualtys would be cut in half, because we're not stuck to predictable or visible routes. And we could avoid accidents like these.

we understand you say this because your a humanitarian, not an asshole.
If only everyone could have a bit of faith in the methods required to turn this war around, and just relax more - and not get shot.

Stop means STOP! Boneheads!

look like any good intentions coupled with bad results. Arm and weapons always bring bad results in long run. This war is destined in bad failure too. Its effect will linger far into future. Cause and effect will take place again.

North Atlantic Treaty Organization
If a NATO country is attacked, all other Nato countries must help defend. NATO also leads missions when all countries in NATO agree. Like the Afghanistan mission.
Do a search on google for nato and the first site is the official NATO site. It is very interesting.

What is NATO
What debate do you guys want ? the ages old tracks-vs-wheels debate, or the troublesome violence strategy of the US army, that turns itself against the men on the ground ?
The one debate is held with the facts of the other, and vice versa. incorrect use of facts to prove your points, doesnt quite increase your credibility...
btw can one be sued when openly argueing the strategy of your army ? In that case i can imagine why this debate is camouflaged under the "wheels-vs-tracks" debate !!

This isn't a debate. Its about life and death, victory or failure. Wheels are miserable failure in Iraq/Afghanistan. We need all-tracked forces backing border security fences and separation walls. The duty of the officer is to serve his people with military excellence--not make excuses for failures.

The NATO allies are not like the war-monger kill-ragheads Americans; they are offering assistance to villagers to improve their lives

I am glad we agree on something, NATO does help a lot of Afghan's. However our LAV's are well liked by the Canadian soldiers.

The NATO mission in Afghanistan is moral even though we are sided with drug warlords...the people don't want the Taliban. SOME unwise Canadians like LAV-IIIs that are road-bound; smart Canadian professionals realize they need tracks to go cross-country and avoid giving Taliban land mines easy targets.
