Killzone 2 E3 2005 Comparison Trailer. HD

Latest Single player footage of Killzone 2 synced to the E32005 trailer audio. The HD version of the E32005 trailer plays after my edited video ends.

GG has come very close to their target render. most of the stuff in the E32005 trailer is recreated in the single player campaign as you can see in this edited version of mine.

What's wrong with some of you people? The fake trailer from 2005 looks way better.

Better textures, higher poly models (the real KZ2 models look blocky, badly rigged and badly animated by comparison), better lightning, higher quality alphas, the particle effects in the real KZ2 are a blurry low-res mess. And the physics and animation don't even come close. I think some of you made your mind up about this game before it even released and just see what you want to see.

@TheArachnotron Nothing can compare to the fluidity of a CGi animated scene, but the fact that they came close means something. Watch it in HD and you will see that there is nothing bad about the models or animation, even in comparison.

And the Original InGame Graphics are just more REAL then the Rest of Games!! I mean its just like YOU Are in the Game and on the E3 Trailer it wasnt that Feeling. What, they CAME CLOSE? Are you serious? we're far from visuals and especially effects like that, believe me.

I cross my fingers and hope that the next-gen will deliver quality like that! And tha fact, that the devs said, that the trailer shows actual gameplay was a pretty big joke!

@ronny302 And I will add that the flame thrower (or Flame-Pisser if you will) in the final game is one of the ugliest effects in the game. I don't know if they were going for a napalm look (hopefully) but it looks like it's pissing out liquid cheetos. The fire itself looks fine, but the stuff coming out of the flame-thrower is a joke. I think you're just trolling, and if you are good job.

@ronny302 I just explained in detail what I found better about the CGI trailer, it's not my problem if you don't understand any of the terminology. Typically PS3 fanboys don't know shit about graphics, they just say things like "gud graffix derp, blooray derp". No the lighting is not better, and what do you mean by special effects? This isn't a movie (lol, the first trailer is). Read my comment again and use google and a dictionary if you have to. Nothing about the final product looks better.

Don´t know, what you find better at the original 2005 trailer. But in comparison, the new trailer looks way more impressive than the prerendered one. The lightning and special effects are way better in the new trailer, also the level details are a lot better.

Just the texture quality and poly count are higher in the fake trailer of 2005.

Also, look at the flamethrower animation and the level details under the bridge....a bad joke in 2005 trailer and way better in 2008.

Too bad the actual game was more of a macho fest than the trailer and the first game.

Who thinks that Killzone 2 or 3 is better than CG 2005 is a completly fanboy and needs to change his/her glasses.
