A visit to Yangon (Rangoon), the capital city of Birma. Sule Pagoda is the landmark of the heart of Yangon. It is said to be 2000 years old. The stupa is 46 m high and it is in a strange octagonal shape. Chauk Htat Gyi Buddha houses the fourth largest colossal reclining Buddha. The image itself is 67m long. Kyauk Taw Gyi Buddha is the largest marble Buddha in the world.

  • Great video. I visited Rangoon and the Chauk Htat Gyi in 1986 and will never forget it. I have a picture of this Buddha in my front room at my home right now.
