  • Nice work Andy. I love when functional pieces have a very artful feeling. I'm curious what type of firing Andy does.

  • Shino is a high fired reduction glaze, fired to about 2380 F, cone 10-11.

  • I've been trying to get a hold of Andy for years...we were in Alfred together and i've lost touch with him...HOW DO I FIND HIM!?!?!

  • Nice work Andy. Thanks for the "how to" infromation. Sock with sand? going to have to try that one.

  • Nice work. I like the handmade, yet refined look.

I have not heard of using a sock filled with sand to press into moulds before....good info. Thanks for posting.

  • I liked this video a lot. There are many great pieces and Andy provides lots of details on how they were done.
