  • I wanted to know to LaTina, That the wigs that I wear are nothing more than a fine, thin sheer imported lace with hair handtied into it. It is extemely light and breathable. My hair although thin is healthy, protected from sun and heating appliance damage, and I am so greatful for the wig makers before me who inventing this type of wig...

    Blessings,

    Sophie

  • not been mean but i see that around your hair line is very light and the back of your neck the skin looks damaged is that from the glue? Is your hair thining out from wear wig and weaves all the time? Because if your hair can't breath and don't get light I know it will cause hair problem.

  • Hi LaTina, I don't think you're mean. You sound concerned. I suffer from alopecia (traction) and use full lace wigs to help me deal with that... it's very difficult but we get through it. As far as my nape area, I had sunburn..lol.. I live in New Mexico, and I've learned that black people do burn... I'm sure it'll clear up and I'm very careful with the adhesives, tapes, and scalp protectors I use. Everything must be sanitary and I thank you for your concern. Blessings sista.. Sophie ;-)

  • Hi sophie u got cut off with what to do when your hair line is lower down if i was to use a lace frontal and put it in front of my hair line i would look like a fool lol cause my hair line would be on my forehead lol so would the adhesive mess up my hair line even if i take it off properly

  • Good question L! You are so lucky let me just say to have such a hairline. The adhesives I use are not harmful to the hairline if removed properly. But!!! Hear me out... you must allow your hair follicles to breath... so if you plan to apply your adhesive on top of your natural hairline, and,... you plan to wear your wig on a daily basis, you may run into some problems down the line with your natural hairline... I hope this helps...

  • I enjoyed your tutorial. I wish all tutorials were this thorough.

  • thank you so much for making this video it was a great help

  • You must have a skill to do this. I tried 37 times, used four rolls of tape and four boxes of wrap and I kept messing things up. Guess I'll just have to give up.

  • wonderful
