@BrianGO12345 there 2 different players man but i do agree with you no ones ever going to be like sundin but its not all about what happens on the ice its what he does off the ice in the dressing room but know way of finding out that one unless your in the room lol but i do miss sundin def my fav player of all time

I am a die hard leafs and Canada fan but my favourite player off all time is Mats Sundin and he deserved to win a cup

Yea, Sundin was one of the best players along the boards. His size and strength made him hard to knock off the puck, coupled with his agility and stick handling made it extremely hard to get the puck off him in the corners.
The goal at 1:28 is a testament to that. Look at the hard work he puts in battling through 2 different Lightning players at the same time, yet he still walks out in front and snipes it still.

Sundin.....Best Leaf captain ever? Ofcourse he is. Points are only one aspect of any sport LukeYeeHaa. A point per game over a career is a pretty stellar career. Any ignorant hater that doesn't appreciate what kind of effort Mats put forth every damn day for this organization apparently doesn't know a first ballot hall of famer when they see one. For the Blue & White Mats Sundin and his career will be remembered forever. Love Ya Mats.

So why he only had one season with 100 points. Oh yeah right thats swedish logic. He is the best hockey player on the planet right just like Forsberg the guy who broke 30 goals twice in his career and had a body of a 50 year old woman. Yeah Jagr had Lemieux who made him a better player but still doesn't mean this guy was better.

Look at the handles around 1:30 holy fuck. Phaneuf aint no captian like sundin, atleast not like ive seen yet. This is what we at leaf nation are missing. This is what the NHL is missing. a truely great and inspirational player. Thumbs up if you agree
