How to raise per-capita income and/or quality of life within the USA:

    1a) More automation.

1b) Progressive corporate tax cuts (via tax credits or differential statutory rates) for increases in domestic payroll expenses.

    2) BALANCED international trade and FDI.

    3) NGO and consumer-directed market regulation.

    4) "Trust-busting" of large banks to minimize systemic risk and to increase technology innovation (large banks have financial disincentive to invest in "cures", cheap energy, etc.)

Every dialogue must begin by defining terms.

Industrial Free-Market Capitalism has never existed in the real world and neither has Industrial Anarcho-Communism (which is the theoretical goal of communist political parties). Neither system has been tested.

Many people refer to State Socialism and State Capitalism as "communism" [failing].

Many refer to the combination of corporatocracy (govt-biz continuum) and international central banking as "capitalism" [failing]. We do need alternatives.

In time I think history will show that we are entering a new phase that shall one day be called Individualism. A time when we wont rely on massive central Government to run the affairs of our Countries

Industrial Free Market Capitalism existed for a brief period in the early 19th century once corporations were legalized and regulations not yet put up. It lead to the record accumulation of weatlth which lead to the 1920 crisis. Didnt you pay attention? Capitalism is constantly breaking and going around barriers, barriers slow this circle of negative processes down. With no Barriers, hey, hipp hipp hurray. Until the whole thing blows up.

Large banks work in Canada. I think the problem isnt the size of the banks, its 'merica's crap regulations.
