@eternalwolf777 Well God does command the Israelites to kill everyone and their animals on multiple occasions, so it is by no means a completely peaceful book all the time

@Lamashtar Where does the bible - or indeed any of the religious books of most major religions do that !! .... Now the "people" who follow some of those religions - yes in some cases thats a different matter

@Lamashtar I felt really compelled to respond to your comments. I'm not trying to start an argument here but I've been a Christian all my life...and read the Bible quite a bit. I don't recall any parts where it glorifies torture, war or a lack of mercy for others. I think you may have us confused with another religion... Jesus' teachings and resurrection are the capstone of the faith and in no way endorse the things you have mentioned. I'd be happy to discuss it with you.

Instead think of it as another message about humanity and how one should behave. Take care of children and those who cannot care for themselves. and be a good human. :-)

That includes knocking someones personal faith down because you don't agree with their beliefs. I dont agree but I don't attack those that do

one doesn't need to be religious to enjoy TSO> I am an Atheist. And make no secret of it but I love TSO and their music. I am a Christmas Nut because the music is beautiful and makes you happy and I love the decorations. Try to enjoy the music for the art and majesty of the music and the skill with which it is performed and not think of it in religious terms.
