David Termini's Homemade Wood turning Tool is shown here simply made from 36 inches of galvanized pipe two set screws and a piece of carbon steel broken out from a old craftsman tool. This is a wonderful tool for all kinds of turning especially for beginners.More info To extend bit further out I put pipe in vise and grip bit with vise grips and tap with hammer. I made my bit from a craftsman carbon steel turning tool bought on ebay and smacked the wood handle off with a hammer. this steel is my favorite for scraping tools .
