All i needed was to hear the price for me to forget about getting about these earphones.

yeah thats to be expected my plantronics voyager 855 does the same i just turn it off and be on so it can reconnect and then it acts fine, and 80.00 idk where you shop lol but mines only costed like 22 but my ear buds cost like 18 i think

I purchased one. having the ipod on my pants pocket was a pain, loosing signal. the only way to use it was hanging my ipod on the neck, having it one feet from the Jaybird. i also tryed to buy the ear buds, but they wanted to send it by fedex, costing me around US$ 80.00 total (buds for US$ 9.99 and the rest shipping and taxes). I sold this junk and purchased an Altec Lansing BackBeat. This one does the job right.
