Nvidia has the most powerful cards on the market, ATI/AMD has the best bang for the buck, because, lets be honest.... Nvidia's performance is enormous, but so is the price..
-
@denzalapin You got $2,000 to spend on an Nvidia Tesla C2070? That's just the cheapest one I can find, retail is supposedly $4,000
-
@greyfoxzero Yeah. Pretty well built too. I accidentally oc'd my card to high once and it started smoking and shit. I got another year of use out of it. That's pretty fucking good.

@Netkiller3714 The 9800gt was way ahead of its time, I mean seriously the chip was launched in 2005 and here we are in 2011 still playing games on it with high settings.
-
@rayright15 Not at all. Got a 9800GT installed and it runs most new stuff like nothing. More then worth the $160 I spent for it.

murpheys law works the other way as well
it's possible that there will just so happen to be absolutely zero bugs in some new release
but I understand what you mean xD

@aztecboxer69 XD IKR?
wouldnt anyone with any sence just buy the best card on the market ?
i have a few pc's and they have ati and nvidia, amd and intel. i find it hard to understand why people just stick to one make. its not like a football team or anything.

I think I'm going to wait until the price goes down significantly before I buy it. If you buy stuff as soon as it comes out; there WILL be bugs. After it's been out for a while, the better versions/drivers etc. will come 'round.
