I would say hard core but in the sense that everything he did was just so hardcore, whether it be music, antics, or his life off the stage he seemed to take it to the extreme.Then Rock n Roll is a much broader term and that's what he chose to call his music, then again if you listen to some early stuff, the Jabbers especially it's some of the best Punk Rock ever!
