Does anyone know how this works for processing food? I used my old Osterizer a lot for making condiments, purees, etc, because its blades were powerful enough to work with veggies. However, the new blender I bought only works for smoothies, because it won't cut veggies evenly. I am looking for a new blender that can also blend veggies well. Your opinion will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thank you for this video. I'm looking for another blender and this video helped me understand how this blender works. Surely the metalic drive will prolong the lifespan of the blender, in comparison to blenders of plastic drive.

I can't understand why they don't make a "pusher" for the Oster blenders like the vita mix has. I mean, the hole is in the top of the lid and it would come in very handy, especially when making green smoothies which I make a lot.

A couple things I don't like about the blender is that there is a perfect spot on the right of the blender where it looks like there is a missing button. I think a manual reverse button should have filled that spot. Secondly, the blades are only sharp on one side. I would have liked them to be sharp on both sides since it goes forward and reverse.
Other than those 2 faults it was the best bang for the buck IMO.

I finally bought the Oster Fustion about 2 weeks ago and I LOVE IT!!!! Awesome blender!!! The you tube videos make it easier to select a blender to purchase when you can see what your going to get. The all metal drive was very appealing. My old blender went south due to the plastic drive components. Thanks

Hi there, thanks for the comment. Sorry for the edit, dang phone rang, and I didn't have the ingredients to start over. I think I took about 15 seconds out of the video but the action remains the same until it stops.
