En este gran premio del 14 de septiembre de 1969, Angel Nieto se proclamo por primera vez campeon del mundo de motociclismo al acabar la prueba en segunda posicion, hace hoy exactamente cuarenta anos !!! Tambien podemos ver al lado de Nieto en la parrilla a Santi Herrero con la mano escayolada poco antes de competir en la prueba de 250cc donde desafortunadamente sufriria una caida quitandole definitivamente el titulo mundial.
