eric chung - Stand By Me [Remix]

A "digitalized" take on Ben E. King's "Stand By Me." This is actually the first song I completed in my pathetic excuse for a home studio. The freestyle near the end really is on-the-spot, as I was actually pretty tired from trying to get a good take after numerous phailed attempts.

Responding to some questions:
1. Why the "autotune" effect?
I thought it'd be interesting to use something so "now" in the industry for a song that's so "old school."

2. Are you ever going to record a non-autotune version?
Yes! I plan to. I actually performed this song at Kollaboration LA '03, but to my knowledge Kollaboration has never released complete footage of that night, so I don't have it in my possession. If there's enough demand I will remake it using my "natural" voice :]
