xD. I was 12 years old back then :)

This was the first multiplayer game I ever played online. I spent a good 2-3 years playing this game and used to create my own server with modded maps (Anyone remember Naps Maps?). While obviously not perfect and clearly dated, it still remains one of the best multiplayer experiences ever for me. Call sign: [A]Nap

Multiplayer in this game was so great back in the day. played all the time. I think this was the first game I played online.

Also, loved the prerecorded "taunts" you could make your player say; "It's hard work being this good!!", "Who wants some?" and others. The online experience was so frantic, awe-inducing sound effects, explosions galore and the sound of players dying made for an excitng and humorous experience. I'm trying CoD and stuff on the Microshaft Xbox but its not the same....tsk, tsk. Thanks for posting the vids.

Great online experience; steep learning curve but finally got proficient and could dominate in this great game. Was mainly a sniper but used the SAW some. Anyone remember -=GAU=- (Ground Assault Unit)? I remember it was hard to get into games on the server, it was so crowded sometimes. I've tried COD et al but it's all urban combat in confined areas, garbage! Mouse, directional keys and a steady hand; Ahh the good times!

I remember when there are no little kids whining in this game.
