Once again Harris makes us all see sense with his well thought out lecture.The man obviously does his homework well and always presents a good case,especially in this one.

If my local vicars young daughter required treatment that was only available through stem cell reasearch to save her life,I`m certain that he would find an excuse in the bible to go ahead with the treatment.

Its morally wrong to prevent the advancement of medicine on religious grounds,why should I suffer for religion.

It's impossible to ignore the reality he points to. religion is the worst element we have on Earth and needs to be eradicated in its organized form. We also feel that since religion gathers free money, without providing a single service or product, yet goes untaxed, they should actually have to pay 90% in taxes to offset that their wealth is generated by not contributing in any way, except of course if you identify their large scale child molestation or segregation of humanity as contributions.

Another great book is Max Blumenthals- Republican Gomorrah. Just a few chapters left but would highly recommend it.
