  • It's 1979. Nine years old. I'm listening to ELO , Boston, Billy Joel etc.... My Mom buys a Jane Olivor record after seeing her in concert. Plays it daily. Fast forward 30 years. Can't even start to describe the changes that have happened in the interim. It doesn't matter. Listening to Jane , it's as if time hasn't changed.

  • If you stay and love me till the morning

Maybe we won't ever say goodbye

  • Pure magic...I am so grateful I got to see her two times around this same time and she just made everyone feel as if they were in the audience listening to an angel!!

  • THE MOST MOVING SONG EVER, BY THE MOST MOVING SINGER EVER

  • @bbtex1 On the end credits on 'Rambo 3' there's a dedication to 'Jane OlivEr, R.I.P.'

Wrong spelling, wrong person. I think that's where the rumour started.

  • I don't know how such rumours get started. This has been with me all these years. I am so glad she is alive and well and still singing. STAY THE NIGHT was and still is one of the most beautiful songs i have ever heard. Thank you for the information on Jane Oliver.

  • @bbtex1

Good News. Jane Olivor is NOT dead. She was still doing concerts as recently as December 2008. And yes, she is a truly great and exquiste singer.

  • Played for Avery...Happy 51st birthday. Wish you could be here with me.

  • Brooklyn50s, I totally agree with you. I have loved this woman since I was a teenager. One of the most beautiful voices of all time.

  • i loved the voice of this woman, Jane oliver, and this song. Yhe first time i heard this song, i went out and bought her album.

It was so sad when she died some years ago. A truly great songtress was she and i think of her often.
