Upon arrival at their new home of Syracuse, refugees from Bhutan are greeted at Hancock airport by the welcoming smile of Hari Adhikari, a fellow Bhutanese refugee and human rights activist who has been threatened, beaten and arrested over the past 17 years while advocating for his people who were expelled from their homeland. Adhikari was the first refugee from Bhutan to be placed in Syracuse in early 2008, and now works as a case manager for Catholic Charities, helping to resettle Bhutanese refugees and continuing his role as community leader. If you think that i am just another bhutanese refugee trying to make you "folks of superficial knowledge" then i am afraid that you are wrong....i am a pure bhutanese.....as in a native bhutanese who lives abroad....and i am officially not a bhutanese....i am a american for the past 8 years....I know things...I DO!!!!BHutan's a great country.....but the laws are not!!!!!!I came here for better life...i am from tashigand,or atleast i was... As for this man on the video....He is GODLIKE....i feel so pity for him....A man of all the talents left on this world to fight for his own life and the lives of his loved ones....if he was given chance by the "so biased bhutanese govt." he would have probably been a very educated man thus contributing to the world of intelligence and better lives....BUT as u see...that couldnt happen....you guys were rude to them before(when they were in bhutan)...and you guys are rude to them now.....
