Their first album was mostly death metal. But I wish they would have stayed with the Norwegian black metal feel.

@Fonsz604 what the hell does the member of the band playing punk have to do with anthrax and megadeth being one of the main reasons darkthrone exists? in the first place, neither of those bands is anywhere near punk. anthrax was commercialized crossover at best-nowhere near punk. i never said DT was the ideal evil black metal band. i could care less, but don't tell me they solely exist because of 2 unrelated sellout bands.

@njthug666 If you'd know anything about Dark Throne, you'd know that Fenriz used to play in a punkband before starting with DT. So there goes your 'ideal evil black metal image' of DT...
