  • Very cool video I am hoping to move to Alaska sometime soon. What about horse property does this area have any decent property for livestock? I used to live in Craig Alaska but it's not a good area for horses, I have been looking at Kenai!

  • @QUEENBEACHA Good question about the horse country. Its awesome for riding.

A guy can go places, and do things on a horse that are only seen in the movies.

Have you seen my video moose hunting by draft horse?

The fact that the pasture is good only from June to Octobers a limiting factor, so a guy needs to figure out a hay solution.

  • nice of you to give a fishing lesson but it looks like you're fishing in a spawning bed and really shouldnt be fishing there, dont let fish and gayme catch you there!

Thank you for your knowledgeable comments,

I know such a polite person as yourself, would never publicly accuse me of actually breaking the game laws of the great state of Alaska.

Though I am not accustomed to falling into any trap of relinquishing my favorite fishing spot, I would be willing to wager your assumptions incorrect for say 100 ounces silver bullion?

I could provide a notarized affidavit from a fish and game biologist that these are fair waters.

  • I worked up at the "Great alaska" camp for a summer. I want to return to the Soldotna area to live.

It sux property is going up so much.

I spent a lot of time in Chanitna bay area too over by

Bear meadow" I heard one of the problems A.K. folks is having is rich folk are buying up alot of property and taking the best hunting areas (similar to whats happening in Montana) any truth to this?

  • @bigsammieking Bigsamieking there are only 680,000 in the whole state of Alaska.

It would take a bunch more folks moving up here than already have to take up all the best.

  • Diogenes was knee deep in a stream washing vegetables. Coming up to him, Plato said, "My good Diogenes, if you knew how to pay court to kings, you wouldn't have to wash vegetables."

"And," replied Diogenes, "If you knew how to wash vegetables, you wouldn't have to pay court to kings

  • nice video..im going to Kenai Peninsula this summer and i can't wait to go fishing

  • @ursushoribilisron My apolgies to the Mrs., but I am totally crushing on you.

  • I heard the fish and could see that you did too...on the video. I do the same thing. One fish one cast. I do that all the time too. It's a well-rounded video of how to fish your location, what to use, and how to fish it. There's no doubt that you fish legally and ethically. Great Job!

  • Stariski Creek?

  • @ursushoribilisron

my bad, but that sure looks like a spawning bed but I guess they are all up and down the river, Im not saying its illegal, but does a guy of your skills need to be catching in a fish bowl, LOL

And I really do appreciate the fishing tips for the new comers and other people that should be fishing, keep'em coming!

    FISH ON!
