  • @wmg111 yea american craft beer became popular in the 80s and now its big u can get good american beer at any bar. stone, sierra nevada,brooklyn lagers,magic hat, dogfish head are all in any local grocery.

  • @1978atcarroll I was perhaps unfair in my assessment of American beer. I'm sure there are some excellent American beers, but they are not widely distributed. All I see is Bud, Papst, and Coors. When I worked in a bar near the border during my university days (the 1970's) we had a stream of Americans who came across the border just for the beer. They all said we were boring, but our beer was superior. I figured a back handed compliment was still a compliment. Hey, I'm Canadian. It's how we roll.
