  • The logical conclusion to Nick Naylor's reasoning is the breakdown of civilization. Relativism in the extreme is the reason why "intelligent design" is humored as an alternative to evolution. How long until we start "teaching the debate" on whether or not the world is flat? No Mr. Naylor, two plus two equals four no matter clever your arguments are. We can move closer and closer to approximating the truth with the right cognitive tools.

  • Fantastic! I'm using this example for my juniors and seniors in my College Writing class. We're going over logical fallacies.

  • that is just absolutely great. it is so extremely true.

  • well this movie if plenty full of good fallacies.....but this is a good one...
