I watch nine innings of the game to love baseball and enjoy the cubs experience, then I go drink beers and talk about the game to really complete it...I don't need a song to sum up the win. I know what happened
I love the cubs to death but the song fucking sucks!!!!!!!!!!. I feel so embarrassed to be a cubs fan win that gay song comes on. I think most guys agree..all the girls are dancing like idiots and the guys are just sitting there at the end of the games. Its so embarrassing and its just awful
@jscullysmail: Well young dude, I think this song is so great, I hope I get to see the Cubs win at Wrigley one day, so I can sing it at the top of my "gay" lungs!
I have seen the cubs win at Wrigley field many times throughout my life, Im a huge fan of the cubs and wrigley, I'm just not a fan of the song. I mean, its just kinda cheesy you know..like if the opposing team lost and saw the opposing fans dancing for there team.. its just kinda like a "fuck you..you guys just lost and were gonna dance in your face! As for your "gay "lungs you should see a doctor unless your being sarcastic..don't joke about gay lungs, my friend died of that.
@jscullysmail: Glad you are a true Cubs fan dude. Sure the song would be "corny, if it weren't true" (see Tribute to Steve Goodman) . The song is a celebration of love for baseball and shared Cubbie's experience. In no way could it possibly be viewed as a "send up" of the losing side. As for my use of the word "gay", I think you better re-read your first message.
yes but he was the Cub's savior at one point remember "In Dusty we Trusty?" and before that Baylor was going to be their new savior...and now Pinella.... face it... the cubs are a joke and always will be... they measure their success by beer sales and attendance NOT by winning
