Need expressive, dynamic, Hypersampled pianos that fit your production? Pianos so good they can actually measure up to the real thing? We think you do.

Reason Pianos is the perfect piano package: three stunning sounding, highly realistic pianos for Reason's Combinator. Reason Pianos were recorded from multiple angles, using six different sets of microphones. Why? Because there's no one way to record a piano.

  • Can I use this with my midi track imported? I don't have keyboard at the moment. It seems that I can, but just to make sure.

  • @Matara yes you can, if I understand your question correctly. You want to import a midi file and play it back using Reason Pianos? Yes you can do that.

  • This video is extremely good, it doesn't only raise a desire to buy this refill pack right away, it also has a great sense of humour which made me laugh several times. This is how a commercial should be made. :)

  • What are they made of beef or something! lol hillarious....

  • Can I get theese songs from this video to download?

  • I bought Reason 5 and put on license and all was good. And this refill is free for users Reason 5 because when I want download this it's failed and I see some error :(

  • @PropellerheadSW Yes, that's it. Thank you Propellerhead team! Cheers! :)

  • @SplinterCell37 So, let's see, guess I went to see the wrong showcase. My apologies for having been a McButthurt back there.

  • @mihaelkYeah No, that's not what i mean at all. I never said your request doesn't make sense. Ivory grands and concert vst's exist for concert piano recordings. They have already fulfilled that need. Reason Pianos aren't MEANT to be ivory grand pianos or concert piano vsts. They're meant to sit well in a mix, and be easy to tweak. By all means, if you want a concert piano vst, then go get one. But I like the flexibility to decide how the piano will sound when I'm mixing.

  • @SplinterCell37 If that's the point, Ivory grand pianos shouldn't even be in the market, should they? There are some of us who like a grand piano that is also suitable for classical music. To be able to modify resonances, pedal volume, dampers volume, all of those things that would drive us insane with a REAL piano. You think my request doesn't make sense? Then why are there CONCERT piano VSTi's on sale? Tell me.

  • @mihaelkYeah Actually, I'm a more classical player than a pop player. :)

These are designed to sit well in the mix. That means you can spend time tweaking to find the sound you want, or go with a preset. It depends on how good you are with Reason. If you're looking for recordings of classical piano, go record yourself on a classical piano, or shell out the extra 900 for some hollywood style VST which only sounds better by a margin. This is designed for, and is perfect for mixing. :)

  • 1:31 So they're just made for popular music? Not for classical? Grand pianos FAIL.
