I can tell the dance instructor had a lyrical background. We bring what we have to God, but we have to ask Him to annoint it. The annointing will transform it from natural to SUPERnatural. Praise dancing is about WORSHIP and clear expression of the song's message. Anything that takes away from that, moves you from worship to enjoyment of talent. WORSHIP always points to God. Your dance should cause everyone to vocus on how the message relates to them in relationship to God, not how good you are.

I did agree on what you are saying, however everyone have there own point of view on what Worship is all about. I just put this up because this is my family. These are kids from the ages of 11 through 18 and they do have a relationship with god. But like i said before everyone have their own way of expressing thier thanks to god.

Also, please don't be upset with me. I love dance and I love dancing at church. I am not being negative but constructive. I actually wish I was there to show you all exactly what I mean. I love to teach. I only know about all of those mistakes because I made them myself at one point...still do sometimes actually. Any dance instructor would tell you the same. Heart and technique both matter you can't disregard either one.

Technique IS very important. Point/Flex when your foot comes off of the ground; that is crucial. Make sure that when you do develope that you pull out of your hip, really point, extend all the way through, and watch your turnout. Never sacrifice alignment for a higher leg.

Your dance was very refreshing to see nonetheless; I'm tired of seeing mime with the title of dance on it. I can tell you all love God.
