Sweet and Sour (SAS) perform their first dance "knock Knock" at Whanau Day Out 2008 held by the Ezekiel 33 Trust at Parrs Park, Glen Eden, Waitakere, West Auckland.
Sweet and Sour are raised funds for a trip to the World Hip Hop Championships in Las Vegas, USA, in July this year.
They won the Varsity Division - Gold Medallist!

In 2007, Sweet and Sour had success at competitions . * Sweet and Sour won the first ever "STOMP Gospel Hip Hop Competition", * Came 1st at the Auckland "Tear it up Battle Championships", * Placed 2nd at the "New Zealand National Tear it up Battle Championships", * And was Awarded the "most promising crew" award and placed 4th at the "Battlegrounds International Championships" held in Melbourne, Australia 2007.
Sweet and Sour have also appeared in two music videos with Aotearoa (new Zealand)'s Premier rap artist, "Scribe", for his songs "F.R.E.S.H" and "My Sh*t".
Sweet and Sour have danced at well known major events such as: * Pasifika Festival (in front of 30,000 people) * ASB Polyfest (in front of 20,000 people) * GDO 365 (Girls Day out) * Desire to Dream (D2D)(in front of 2,000 people) * Hayman Park Waitangi Festival (in front of 5,000 people) * Youthtown Auckland Stars (Halftime Show, televised on Sky TV)
Sweet and Sour have also supported New Zealand's local and international artists such as: * Tight Eyez and the Krump Kings * Che Fu * Scribe * Nesian Mystik * Levites * Vince Harder
Sweet and Sour competed at the "Street Dance New Zealand (SDNZ) National Dance Championships" and convincingly won the varsity division (-18 years old). Sweet and Sour gained the highest score over the entire night, including the Adults division, scoring 89.23 out of 100. This accomplishment ranks Sweet and Sour as the top Hip Hop crew in New Zealand and allows them to compete at the official "World Hip Hop Championships" held in Las Vegas in July 2008.
Though Sweet and Sour has a high profile in the local community, it is going to be a struggle to raise the $50,000 it takes to get to Las Vegas, USA. In order to obtain these funds Sweet and Sour are planning on running dance workshops, touring a Hip Hop production around the Auckland and Waikato region, and continuous performances at local events, also we are finding sponsors/funding to help contribute towards our journey to the World Champs.
