@magna59 The fibreglass is to provide support mainly, not seal the cracks.

Great job with building the canoe. I built one myself for a school project recently(personal project). One problem however was that, I do not know if you did this on purpose, but the sides of the boat generally lean outward, this provides support, and raises up the bow ans stern allowing the boat to travel through the water quicker.

I just bent the wood and screwed it to the little rectangle blocks that you see
on the floor of the boat. The thin plywood bends pretty easy.

Nice work. Did you just use regular ACX plywood from the hardware store, or is this marine grade plywood? Thanks -- TMFA
