Hello, I soaked the chhole and used the same water for cooking. But it forms this disgusting, slimy, bubbly, white layer on the top. What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Going vegan has several health benefits, like lowering the chance of having certain heart diseases. Still, it is crucial to enjoy a vegan meal. I wish to share some vegan recipes but youtube wont let me post here, so I put it on my profile.

does canned tomatoes have bad pungent smell?or is it lke normal?

@hijklmnop36 : for the people who have a very sharp taste sense, yes, they will be able to tell the difference. This recipe has so many spices and additional flavors, it is easy to mask that.

Hi ! I have a pressure cooker I got from India. How long should I heat it then or how many whistles? Is it that we have to pressure cook the canned peas? And lastly, can we add onions to the tomato gravy that you have shown? Thank you very much.

@mike1schumi
If you are using canned peas, you can let your pressure cooker whistle just once and switch it off. It will help the peas absorb the flavors from the sauce. Yes, if you like, you can add onions. Be sure to cook the onions until they are golden brown before adding the tomatoes.
