@rockinsurfkid i actually went to a podiatrist the other day and i found out i have flat feet. in theory this shoe was right for me but the arches were too aggressive and they hurt both my feet when i was walking around in them. the podiatrist recommended Brooks vapor; ravenna and nike triax . but if anyone out there has got any other suggestions i would kindly take them on board.
@barbs19788 if you have high arches you should generally shop for trainers that are neutral, a good choice for a high arched runner would be the adistar ride, or the supernova glide from adidas

i bought a pair of these last week and they're awful. They hurt the arch of my right foot and the calf of my left foot. can anyone out there recommend a high arch shoe?
@barbs19788 oh, well flat feet is a different thing shoewise completely, but those reccomomdations you got from your podiatrist are pretty good,
