5. Thomas' Train

Season 1, Episode 5

Thomas wants to pull a train instead of shunting coaches in the yard. The big engines simply laugh in response and say he wouldn't be able to do it. That night, Henry becomes ill and isnt able to pull the morning train. When no other engine is available, Thomas has to pull the train. He gets so excited, he doesn't notice until too late that he sets off before the coupling is secured, so his coaches and passengers stay at the platform while Thomas goes full steam ahead by himself! After the signalman stops him on his tracks, a somber Thomas goes back to fetch his coaches. Trying one more time, Thomas pulls the train properly. All the same, the engines tease him afterwards for being careless!

@Lucariofan24680 Another thing is that Thomas pulls 4 EMPTY coaches. Yes, Edward is starting to get old, but the small brown coaches in "Edwards exploit" is really heavy.
