I had an accident like that except they ran a stop sign and I hit THEM in the side-lucky for them their SUV had side air bags. Everyone walked away even though both vehicles were doing 50

For over a month afterwards I got really tense/scared every time I drove

i was leaving work with my wife at 9:30pm. while crossing an intersection my wife yelled "BABY STOP!" i hit my breaks and stopped in the middle just in time to get slammed by a guy in a Lexus SUV doing 60+ mph in a residential area. He hit the front end of my civic and just about ripped the engine out. my wife got a concussion, and broken arm. i broke a thumb. the guy rolled one and a half times. but was drunk and only cut his head. it was his FIFTH D.U.I.! He actually helped me out of my car.

@123gwf Sadly, you're right. Every time you hear of a drunk driver crashing into a van full of children or some shit, it's always the innocent family who gets killed while the drunk driver stumbles away like "wuhhh fuck happened?"
