Did Jesus Christ really rise from the dead?
Is there evidence that Jesus rose from the dead?

He is the president of the Islamic Information & Dawah Centre International in Toronto where he functions as Imam.
He travels internationally to represent Islam in public lectures and interfaith dialogues.

@Millingtorres There are so many corruptions in the bible and so many errors even in the story of the resurrection, Just trying to get the story right of the resurrection and the prophecy about the 3 days and 3 nights proves far to difficult for Christians, and sadly this and many other reasons are exactly why i would never base my life on a lie or something doubtful... I would rather base my life and after life on something which i have pure and undisputed belief about.. defo not Christianity.

@Millingtorres So according to you, and take into consideration, every Christian has a different answer, not one Christian i've met gives me the same answer, its astonishing lol... one person told me that it was a leap year!!! and that the Jews added 2 saturdays!!! LOL even then your argument is completely illogical and does not fulfill the prophercy made by Jesus.. what cant u understand, JESUS said 3 DAYS and 3 Nights Like Jonah was... Jesus was not in the belly of the earth for that time....

@DiLxThief oh and also, you're arguing over the time he spent dead, and overlooking the fact that people testified to him being alive, and appearing to them. Jesus' full bodily resurrection was a life changing event for those who saw him alive, they left everything to follow and preach what they had seen with their own eyes. I pray that one day you can be changed in the same way.

@DiLxThief my friend have you read the Gospel account of Jesus' death? Mark 15:34-37 says that Jesus died at the 9th hour which is 3pm. Many historians testify to what I said about the Jewish way of counting days, and as well at many points in the Bible it is used, a king can be said to have reigned for 2 years, even though it was really 14 months.

Jesus was Crucified after sunset.. and he was not buried till later on at night, so he was not buried in the day. Jesus Mentions that he would be IN THE BELLY OF THE EARTH for 3 days and 3 nights, yet he was not in the tomb till friday night, so therefore your argument still has a flaw because Jesus said he would be in the belly of earth for 3 days and 3 nights, yet he was buried late at night.. so no my dear friend it doesn't help rather it opens up 101 different questions... ;p

@Millingtorres Where is your proof to say that the Jews calculated the days and nights like the way u mentioned? There is no difference between the Modern day meaning of DAY and NIGHT and the meaning of Jewish custom as you said. Say for arguments sake ur right and im wrong their is still a big problem because u cannot have a day and night occurring at the same time thats totally illogical, either its friday DAY or Friday Night, And if we read the history according to theologians.. they say

@DiLxThief No he didn't, my friend. You're reading the word "day" in a modern sense, but you must read it as the Jews would have read it at the time not the meaning of it in modern day English. According to Jewish customs any part of a day however small, is considered a day. So in days there was 1) Friday day - before sunset 2) Saturday day and 3) Sunday morning. With the nights 1) Friday Night 2) Saturday (before sunrise & after sunset) & 3) Sunday morning (before sunrise). Hope that helps!

Jesus said that i would show a sign.. like that of Jonah... i will be like that of Jonah.. like Jonah was 3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS in the belly of the whale... i also the son of man will be 3 DAYS and 3 NIGHTS in the belly of earth... now according to the bible.. he was crucified on friday night... saturday morning, saturday night and the tomb was found empty on sunday morning... thats only 2 DAYS and 2 NIGHTS!!! did Jesus lie?

@rodrigodiasilhabela How can God die? lol Jesus says "I can of mine own self DO NOTHING (John 5:30) what kind of God cannot do nothing?... its clear here Jesus is telling u thats its God that does everything... he is just a man. Again can God be TEMPTED BY DEVIL? God cannot be tempted by no one! The bible says "Where he Jesus stayed forty days, being tempted by Satan" (Mark 1:13) only human beings are tempted, it does not befit a God to be tempted...
