@bochog099 For starters, using caps doesn't make you any smarter, it just makes you sound like an idiot. Secondly, your grammar is shocking. Thirdly US Army Rangers wore helmets in the Second World War. The reason they have none in the film is, as I said, because they're too noisy for stealth missions. Don't believe me? Watch the first couple of parts of the film again.

@local1114 They don't have body armour as Kevlar bullet proof vests were not developed and distributed to soldiers until the 60's, 20 years after the events of the Second World War. As for the lack of helmets the reason is given at the start of the film by one of the soldiers; they're too noisy for a stealth mission. :)
