The playing field was always even. The rich "got ahead" by working harder or smarter than the rest of us.

They took nothing from us, they produced and people bought.

You want to be rich? Produce and sell, harder and smarter than the next guy.

It's that simple, unless there's a progressive tax system which takes more and more of the next dollar earned. Then it's just that much harder to gain and you encourage people to stop producing.
