"Using no way as a way, Using no limitations as a limitation."

"Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend."

"Always be yourself, express yourself, have faith in yourself, do not go out and look for a successfull personality and duplicate it."

"To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.

The key to immortality is first living a life worth remembering. - Bruce Lee

The four rules of Jeet Kune Do are:

1. Research your own experience
2. Absorb what is useful
3. Reject what is useless
4. Add what is specifically your own

Bruce Lee changed and inspired many people, he was known as great martial artist as well as a great philosopher, but he was much more than that.......

-When Bruce Lee seriously injured his back and had to stay on bed for 6 months, he found much inspiration from Jiddu Krishnamurti and others.....

This is an excellent documentary of Bruce Lee's Journey.....

I strongly recommend people to read "The Tao of Jeet Kune Do". It is the posthumously published collection of notes scribbled down by Bruce Lee, mostly compiled in a six-month stay in a hospital after having injured his back and later compiled by his wife Brenda Lee into the book.
It is a great book to see good insight to Bruce Lee and how he looked at things pertaining to attack and defense. Easy to understand text and pictures.

    Thumbs aren't counted.

  • @PainMonkey: It wasn't "versus", he was teaching him, not ruthlessly beating his ass, lol. So it's really kinda the same feel.
