2 minutes of the graphical program schedule for NCTV Channel 17 in Naperville, Illinois on 4/9/89.

A Commodore Amiga was used to create these graphics, which were much more improved than the block text on a blue background previously used.

  • Holy crap man, i just was on an old amiga kick and I found this.. The best part is that it shows my program with the wrong name. You wouldnt happen to have program guide 2.0 that i did?

  • Hi Dave. Hope this meesage finds you well these days. I think I might have some footage of the 2.0 version. Remember Juanita? I also have all the old NCTV recordings that we produced as well, although you probably have those on VHS as well. I even have a live show that you did with Jeff, Mike and Bryan, and people called in and said all sorts of profanity that would not fly by today's public access show standards. I'll see what I can find.

  • Was "The Fix Up" a local game show? I'm a game show expert, and I've never heard of that one before.

  • No, it was a one time show, produced by someonw within the community. I actually was on the production crew for it. It was a 10 minute segment.

  • Was hoping to see Q-Bucket...Since I think I saw that particular show a billion times on Illinois public access channels.

  • Wow, that's very cool. :)

    Thanks for the info!

  • 'Brandy, You're A Fine Girl' by Looking Glass.

  • I believe the name of the song is "Brandy, You're A Fine Girl". Don't know who the name of the group who sang the song.

  • What's that song playing at 0:17-0:21? On April 11, 1989, Elizabeth was four years old. On April 11, 1989, Sam Haskell's younger daughter was two years old.
