Also find new exercises like press ups etc, press ups i think = work from 3rd to 6th chakra.
I do alot of bodybuilding, done correctly it builds you up, and inadvertadly also hits the chakras, also.

Youve just done a video on this exercise on the yoga meditation channel, but im banned to comment on there, so ill comment on here.
Physical training is good for chakras, anything from jogging to bodybuilding, alot of so called 'spiritual' people dont realise how important it is to "work out".
Abdominal exercises link straight into the 3rd chakra, just start out with a few reps a work out to begin with, cause alot of people can get stomach strains if they are weak there, Build up gradual.

Any physical work has emotional/spiritual reactions as part of the natural healing process of the body, and vice versa with meditation/visualization bringing up latent physical issues to deal with. Other than taking your awareness to the area of the chakra and maybe visualizing the color appropriate to the area, it's something that unfolds on its own. Your body/spirit will teach you how to heal as long as you let your breath be your guide and stick with it.

Can this be practiced without working on the 1st and 2nd chakra?

Hi Richard, yes you can "spot fix" particular chakras. But to have to the best results, one must also pay attention to the other chakras, beginning with the Root chakra.
