Garfield High marchers not actually affiliated with Occupy Seattle, though we support them in every way.

  • Occupy not the best word to use for a movement

  • I am so proud of you, remember you are going to be able to vote soon. Always make yourself be heard, you have the ability to get this under control. Volunteer at nonprofits, look to trying to get intiatives passed but most important remember that this is your future and it is in your hands. You are the future.

  • You kids are idiots/ You have no clue about reality.

  • Class trip!

  • IM A SO FUCKING PROUD OF YOU KIDS!, TO HEAR THE SEA OF STUDENTS FIGHTING FOR THEIR RIGHT TO LEARN IS SO POWERFUL! I WANT TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT! IM HOMELESS AND I THINK I HAVE MORE IN THE AMERICAN PUBLIC THEN ANY PUBLIC OFFICAL!

  • Very proud. Be strong.

  • This and the Occupy movement give me hope about the future of this country. It's supposed to be about We The People, and The People are waking up!

  • Many say this is just an excuse for high-school aged kids to get out of class... but then they have never met any passionate youth. Fires for change come from all ages- don't let ANYONE tell you your voice doesn't matter.

This video and movement is beautiful. Keep it up!!! And remember when you can vote: question everything, trust your gut, research everyone.

  • Right on kids. Way to make your voice heard!

  • Go back to school

Occupy movement does receive funds from those who supports it. They are from U.S. and also even from activists in Spain and Egypt as solidarity. Lots of money are going into things that are needed for Occupy movement like foods and shelters. Banks? I don't know about that. There are those who do stay in camp(there aren't that much left thanks to police) and there are those are in and out like myself. I don't know how that's being "hi-jacked".
