The Annual PlayStation Museum Game of the Year awards have been determined. The 2009 Game of the Year goes to Pac-Man World for it's superior gameplay, graphics, animation, and music!

PAC-MAN IS BACK!
It's PAC-MAN's 20th anniversary, but not everyone is celebrating. The Villainous Toc-Man has imprisoned Pac-Man's family and friends on Ghost Island! Grab a power pellet and start chomping! It's up to video game history's favorite hero to save the day! All new abilities! Pac-Man still eats dots and chomps ghosts, but now he also jumps, bounces, revs and swims.

Experience the challenge of the original Pac-Man in over thirty all-new 3-D pac-mazes!

Feeling nostalgic? Chomp ghosts the old-fashioned way! The original arcade version of Pac-Man game is included!

A brand new world! Over twenty levels of all-new 3-D platform style gameplay!

  • The camera in this game was sometimes just wrong; it would be trying to provide a 2D view while you had to navigate 3D objects. I remember jumping onto a platform only to miss it because I was too far to one side without the camera giving me the right view.

  • Good point. Some jumps are difficult to time. Even jumping out of the water could be difficult.

  • I love this game *-*

  • very nice game,ps is a genius machine 4ever!

  • can anybody help me i have this game but its scrated and wont play and i loved this game so plz help me

  • @knucklesfan8 They should make a complimation, sorta like Namco Museum. There's four games: Pac-Man World, Pac-Man World 2, Pac-Man World 3, and Pac-Man World 4 (if they even make it). I wouldn't even care if the games were ports of their console counterparts! I just want to be able to play console quality Pac-Man games on the go (not Pac-Man Party, but I do have it for the Wii and it was fun).

  • @PacMan1096

I had a similar story. I beat world 2 and 3 on the gamecube and wanted to try world 1 cause some people said it was the best of the series (i think its as good as 2 but not 3) and it looked awesome from wathing a few gameplay videos but i didnt own a playstation so i got the gba version and I was soooooo dissapointed. I remember I bought a PS just so I could play this game cause the emulators suck. So for the 3ds we need this, world 2, or best of all, WORLD 4!

  • @knucklesfan8 Exactly! I got the GBA version as a kid and I was expecting it to be just like the PS1, but I was totally wrong! Most of the levels were cut-out (including an entire world), only one boss battle, no mazes.... It wasn't supposed to be made for the GBA. The 3DS version would possibly have mulitplayer of some sort (maybe Pac-Man VS), better graphics, and on top of that... 3D! I'd like to see how'd that get done.

  • @PacMan1096

Yeah. Cause the portable version for the Game Boy wasnt close to the PS version which if we used the 3ds it would be exactly the same.

  • @knucklesfan8 Agreed. When I said all platforms, all I really meant was 3DS :D

  • @PacMan1096 this game needs to at least be on 3ds
