The identified site is located in the historic centre of the town, facing the Albertinian Academy of fine arts. It is highly frequented by students during the lessons timetable (approximately from 9a.m. to 6 p.m. ) and from the normal flood of pedestrians, also thanks' to the near tram and bus stops which are only 2 metres far from the chosen site. The place is one of the crucial areas where traffic is regulated together with the connections among the most suburban areas, Porta Nuova train station and downtown. Buses 18,61,68 run from 6 a.m. to 00 a.m. ,building up from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.. The access to private cars in Accademia Albertina street is forbidden from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Next to the identified site there are also a parking normally used during loading and unloading operations and some shops : a small library, a photocopy shop, a fine souvenirs shop, a tourist agency and a bar. The principal problem is due to the heavy trams and buses traffic. The chosen site is in the historic centre of the town. The bivouac occupies the cement traffic island that divides Accademia Albertina street from theparking.
