vvvv it sucks alot. trust me. after awhile your muscles start to lock up lol we had to stretch a TON after rehearsals because our muscles would get so stiff. but it is totally worth it to be apart of something so beautiful :)

Does anyone know how tall Irina is?

There is no best when it comes to dancers as everyone "sees" the dance in a subjective way. Having said that, this is my idea of The Dancer of the present time.

Every Swan Lake is of interest (every important one), including non-traditional and including the all-male version (so truly swan-like). I first saw it with Margot Fonteyn (but not yet Nureyev) when Sadlers Wells first came to the USA, in San Francisco, I think in 1950.

Try Uliana Lopatkina in Swan Lake... The most amazing I have ever seen

i loved how she had so much emotion in her face... the only other dancers i can think of that's nearly as emotional is gillian murphy and sofiane sylve.... there's so many great dancers in the world but when they lack the emotion component the performance always seems to lack no matter how GOOD they are

There is a lot of depth in Iruna's interpretation. I remember seeing Irina live, and it was unforgettable, but still not as perfect as Leslie Ann Larson. Her performance was as near to perfection imo. You have to remember that everyone perceive's odette diferently. But this was enjoyable to watch.
Imagine having to be the dancers on the side and standing perfectly like that for so long...

What really amazes me is her dramatic face.I've seen so many Odettes and none of them had that dramatic and deeply sad look she has in here.Perfect interpretation....I don't care about her ugly attitude en avant in this case, because she is SO SO MOVING!!!!
