I am "on" this video because I like the pogues. I am an Irish nationalist but I do not accept the need for violence from anyone in any country. You would need to look at the early years of this country to see the blood on the Irish states hands. Summary executions on both sides in the civil war. I don't now of any poets, writers or philosophers that currently condone "the armed struggle". Maybe you could enlighten me.
